About Us

Who We Are 

The Place of Hope, Healing and Restoration (TPHHR) is a faith-based program established to provide a holistic response to youth and young adults in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area who are disenfranchised, marginalized and socio-economically challenged with experiencing homelessness and emotional hurt. We believe that no young person deserve to be homeless; and their basic human right should afford them shelter, food, clothing, education, job skills training and at the root of it all should be love. We offer a continuum of care designed to build steady progress that can transform lives of those we serve with becoming emotionally fulfilled and economically independent. 

Mission Statement

Originating from a Christian commitment of service, TPHHR mission is to provide high quality comprehensive housing options with supportive services to youth and young adults in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area who are experiencing homelessness empowering them to become productive, self-sufficient and fully integrated into the community. 

Vision Statement

Our vision is that every youth and young adult experiencing homelessness in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area will have a safe place to sleep at night regardless of race, gender or socio-economic status.
